The Venue’s corrosion warranty is 2 years longer than the Forester’s (7 vs. 5 years).

There are over 32 percent more Hyundai dealers than there are Subaru dealers, which makes it easier should you ever need service under the Venue’s warranty.

J.D. Power and Associates’ 2025 Initial Quality Study of new car owners surveyed provide the statistics that show that Hyundai vehicles are better in initial quality than Subaru vehicles. J.D. Power ranks Hyundai third in initial quality, above the industry average. With 14 more problems per 100 vehicles, Subaru is ranked 11th.

For better maneuverability, the Venue’s turning circle is 1.9 feet tighter than the Forester Premium/Limited Hybrid’s (33.2 feet vs. 35.1 feet). The Venue’s turning circle is 2.2 feet tighter than the Forester’s (33.2 feet vs. 35.4 feet).

The Hyundai Venue may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 900 to 1200 pounds less than the Subaru Forester.

The Venue is 1 foot, 11.6 inches shorter than the Forester, making the Venue easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The power windows standard on both the Venue and the Forester have locks to prevent small children from operating them. When the lock on the Venue is engaged the driver can still operate all of the windows, for instance to close one opened by a child. The Forester prevents the driver from operating the other windows just as it does the other passengers.
